Hello from a fellow RT wannabe

Hello, I am Samaria. I am also a fellow RT wanna be. Like Skyler, I completed my first semester of Respiratory Program, I have a desire to be a RT. But my circumstances are quite different than Skyler's. I am a mother of 2 boys, which needless to say complicates things a bit more. I also do not have prior medical experience like Skyler. My desire to become a Respiratory Therapist comes from the desire to help others, I applied to the program unsure of what to expect or if I would even get in but to my surprise I was accepted. After my first semester of Respiratory school, I am glad I was accepted and that it is something I have followed through with. I look forward to next semester and what else there is to learn. I believe my perspective on the program can be helpful to mothers that want to go back to school but are unsure as to how it will all work out. I can begin by telling you to start with just trying!
